"Since we don't have eggs at our house we were looking for an alternative for breakfast burritos. My kids liked this so much that we not only eat it in breakfast burritos, but they enjoy them all on their own. They often like to pair their scramble with some hash browns and salsa."

Ingredients

1 16oz pkg firm tofu
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon turmeric

Directions

1) Heat a skillet on medium heat. Drain tofu, add to skillet. Break up into little pieces.
2) Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, chili powder, and tumeric. Mix well.
3) Serve in a breakfast burrito or by itself with a side of hashbrowns, ham or bacon. Try mixing with sauted onion and peppers for added flavor.
